Todays photo assignment with 'the joy of love' is about 'how they look'.
I am a biased Mama - always have been, always will be! That's how it works though, when you love someone with all your heart. Lilah always looks beautiful, every single day. I absolutely adore her and all her precious little looks. I look at her and think to myself, her birth Mama must be beautiful. Really. Truly. Beautiful.
Lilah has had 'the frames look' for a while now. A friend of ours from Church gave her these 3D kid size glasses, we popped out the lens and well, she thinks she's the bee's knees wearing them. Who am I to argue? And the pigtails, we call them bear ears, they are my absolute favourite look on her at the moment. Lilah loves them too, she asks for them a lot and then says: "Call me Bear. You're Franklin and I'm Bear. Okay Franklin?"
Have I mentioned I adore her?
I've also been trying to follow the photography tips that have been sent in the emails. Today's tip was about photographing your subject on the same level as they are. I rarely photograph at this level, but it sure is fun!
oh my gosh ::heart:: this series of pics. love the distortion, too!
ReplyDeleteOh Stars, she is beautiful . . .
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand the cuteness!
ReplyDeleteYou are very right, "beautiful"!

I agree!! You have EVERY right to think she's beautiful!! And I love the bear ears! I also love the way you display your 365. Is that a template you got somewhere or did you do it yourself. I'd loveto put my 365 in the same kind of "showcase" but don't know how. Happy Wednesday! With love...
ReplyDeleteYes she is absolutely, stunningly, beautiful!! I'm a big fan of the "bear paws" as you call them (love that) right now too (Kerry has been wearing them lately, as well). Lilah is ridiculously cute in her little "specs", and I'm really enjoying your daily photo assignments..thanks for sharing them with us!
ReplyDeleteGin =)
My kids wear these glasses with the lenses popped out too, but they think they look like nerds. Lilah doesn't look so nerdy, she is too cute for that... I love the photos taken from this level!
ReplyDeleteBear ears....what a great name for them! Sometimes I think Lilah looks so grown up and then next time I look she seems still a wee baby. I love these photos, down at Lilah's level I think you get much more of the detail of her scrummy little face. Dx
ReplyDeleteI don't think you are biased at all, Lilah is indeed a beautiful child ^^ Thank God for the art of photography, capturing moments and printing memories.
ReplyDeleteLove the "Bear Ears"!
ReplyDeleteLilah really is a stunningly beautiful child. She'll be breathtaking as an adult, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteI adore this set of photos, Jill! Wow, the low angle is perfect for them. It kinda looks like Lilah is trying to get as low as you in that first pic - so cute!
And the 'bear ears'! Love 'em! I keep trying to get Claire to wear them but to no avail. Maybe I'll show her this post and she'll be inspired!
LOL. This. is. awesome. I love all of these. They brought a smile to my face. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteShe is so stinkin adorable. Just so you know. (As if you didn't already.)
