unbearably cold!

Colin and I arrived in Canada 11 years ago, yesterday.

I can distinctly remember that it was as unbearably cold then as it was today! And yes, there are freezing cold days (like today!) that make me wonder: Why on earth?! What were we thinking?!

But moving here was a huge part of God's plan in building our little family.

And because of that, I'm so very thankful. Cold weather and all!

  1. I wonder why I live here too! But there is always a reason. It is cold here too, REALLY COLD. I am glad to see you still get out!

  2. You do a great job of getting little Lilah out in the snow for someone who doesn't like it so much!

Love your outdoor photos...I can't bear the thought of getting the camera out (and taking my mittens off to press the button!)

  3. It looks extremly cold with you. But Lilah doesn't seem to show it, wrapped up snug!

I say, stay indoors with the fire on as much as poss!

Ps Happy 11th Anniversay...would love to hear what made you decide to move to Canada, sometime. Its the one country my husbands always talks about emigrating to!

  4. I know what you mean Jill! Why the frozen north? Oh well, at least it only lasts a few months!

  5. It does look cold, but Lilah doesn't look like she minds much...and she looks so cute in her winter gear. She really seems to be game for most anything.
