nepean sailing club and park

dick bell park (& sailing club)

Today Lilah and I took a little spin over to the Nepean Sailing Club.

It's close by one of the shopping malls we go to now and again, and also very close to Baba's work. We weren't sure what the weather was going to do, since it was pretty cloudy and calling for rain, but thankfully it didn't rain - it was just cloudy and windy.

We took a little walk around the park and then ended up on these two little docks. Lilah really wanted to check out the boats, but I'm pretty sure that's a members only area, so we just got to view them from a distance. Lilah really had fun on the docks, pretended they were her boats. She was hanging onto the little metal handles on the sides and was pretty anxious for me to hang on too... "In case we fall off Mama" - her words! She also enjoyed jumping on them and making them rock - our girl is showing a little more of a fearless attitude!

  1. Love the editing in the first one. And the cuteness just shoots off the screen with all the others of your cutie frolicking around. Beautiful setting!!

    Have a great week.

  3. Haha! There are actually two ponytails Paige, but one of them seems to be bent backwards...

I remember when my sister used to wear a side ponytail. Very 80's! I'll have to try it on Lilah some time, her hair should be long enough.

  4. Love the first one! How on earth did you do that?

I also like the perspective in the shot where she is lying down with leaves in her hand.

Isn't it wonderful to share all of the nooks and crannies of a beautiful city with your child?

  10. The outfit is from Joe Fresh - our grocery store brand.

And the silhouette was done in a program called 'Photoscape' - it's a free downloadable software editing program - just google it.

There is a little black and white button on the left side (under home) called 'BW Threshold'. Just choose a photo and press it. That's how easy it is!
