black & white wednesday: { santa's little helper }

santa's little helper

Well, I went through all my pictures from last year and I don't know, but none of them are springing out and hitting me as 'The Perfect Christmas Card Photo'.

To be perfectly honest, I have something in my head and I don't even think it's possible to accomplish! It's like I want this one photo to show every single adorable little side of her, that I know and love. And well, that just doesn't happen in one photo. Maybe I should just send everyone a whole album of photos! Haha!

I pretty much gave myself a pep talk this morning, that I should just get over myself and use one of the ones I already have - stop being so darn fussy.

However, I didn't stick to my pep talk and ended up taking a few more shots this morning. Lilah even scored a massive lolly out of it, so I'm pretty sure she doesn't mind the endless stream of picture taking.

"The Gift"

Winter snow is falling down
Children laughing all around
Lights are turning on like a fairy tale come true
Sittin’ by the fire we made
You’re the answer when I prayed
I would find someone and baby I found you

All I want is to hold you forever
All I need is you more everyday
You saved my heart from being broken apart
You gave your love away
And I’m thankful everyday
Can’t find the words to say
Thank you for the gift

  1. Every shot of her is adorable, but what about those BEAUTIFUL fall shots with the pink leaves???!!!! Those were gorgeous!

By the way, I think Tinyprints.com has a photo collage option that you can either tuck inside a card or use for the outside of the card. I don't remember which.

  2. I love every one of these photos! Any one of them would make a cute Christmas card photo. I think my favorites are the first one and the one of her looking at the lollipop.

  6. I have no idea how you would ever chose just one photo, they are all so beautiful. But these are perfect for a card! I think you have a little model on your hands.

  7. She is just so cute! I have the same problem as you. Can't make up my mind about what photo to use for our cards. I have thousands of shots from this year but I ended up taking my girls out to the meadow with a white chair. They thought it was great fun and I think I'll use the shots. Not sure yet though. And I can never choose just the on...it will have to be a collage this year again.

  10. Jill, I am constantly blown away by your photography! I mean, I know you have a stunning little girl there but your skill in capturing her beauty, sweetness and silliness is just amazing.

These are just perfect. But honestly, I thought that about the last Christmas hat set, as well as those beautiful outdoor ones in the pink leaves. They are all perfect for Christmas cards! I don't know how you will ever choose!
