the dragon boat race weekend

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the few Asian festivals held in our city. Three years ago, sitting with our social worker, we promised we would share as much Chinese culture with Lilah as we possibly could. And we love doing it - it's as much for us as it is for her.

Although I must admit, for now, Lilah's pretty much all about the ice-cream!

  1. So much fun! Last year we were flooded out and this year we couldn't go because of a family commitment. I can't wait to go next year!

  3. They are so fun to watch and the boats are amazing... they have been practicing in our lake lately, so we get to watch them (how I don't know because the lake is not that big!).

    I love the tattoo too.

Have a great day with your husband today!
