pumpkins galore

We're on a pumpkin roll around here. We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday past, we eat pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Sunday and then yesterday we went out to Dollarama for a few festive pumpkins to decorate the house. There is an orange glow around here and if Lilah didn't already know the colour orange, she definitely would by the time Halloween is over!

She isn't much into the Halloween scary stuff and to be honest, I'm not really into the scary stuff myself. Each time we walk down the 'scary isle' in the supermarket, Lilah is very quick to point and say "Not nice". She shakes her head and gives a scowl that's as fierce as the faces looking back at her!

So for now and maybe forever, we're all about the pumpkins.

Oh and speaking of pumpkin roll, doesn't this look and sound delicious? I so have to make it.

  2. Hey Paige,

The pumpkin lanterns are from Dollarama. They have a little bulb in them - so they can be switched on at night. So sweet!

Let me know if you don't have a Dollarama, we could always mail you some!

  4. Those lanterns are really neat! I assume Dollarama is a chain...do you know if they are in the states, too??

I got the money order today, so I will have it out in the mail to her tomorrow. Just incase she is thinking I forgot...I thought I'd let you know!! I love the sweater set...it's just darling. Now all I need is the little girl to wear it!! :) Papers go to the consulate TOMORROW, then we should be DTC in about 2 weeks...finally! But...YEAH!!! One step closer to bringing her HOME!! <><

    Hugs,
    Tanya

P.S.>> I'm glad to hear that Lilah doesn't like all the yucky, witchy, scary stuff... she is right, they're "not nice" !!! :)

  6. My husband and I have been following your blog for the last few months. We have adopted from China's WC program as well, but our daughter is a little younger than Lilah (19 months). Your Lilah is beautiful! I love looking at all your fantastic pictures on the blog, I wish I was a photography savvy as you ;)
