this girl of mine...

This girl of mine, has a massively special piece of my heart. How I love her.

She's maturing so much at the moment... especially in conversation. I love our special times together when we're alone and she just wants to chat and tell me all about her day. She absolutely loves her activities at the moment: she loves school, she loves swimming and she loves piano, but most of all... she absolutely loves skating! She counts down the days and talks about it daily! One of the things I've noticed most lately, is how excited she is over her achievements. Be it the two songs she could play on the piano this week, without error or swimming underwater for X number of seconds or learning her weekly Bible verse word perfect... she is just so super eager to keep trying until she succeeds. I imagine, with her confidence and determination, she will succeed at whatever she puts her mind to.

I'm so proud of her.

  1. Doesn't it make your heart swell to see the joy on her face? I feel the same way with Caleb and Madeline. So happy to hear that Lilah loves all that she's doing. And she sure does look cute all bundled up.

  6. Sweet Lilah ... so glad she is enthusiastic about her school and afternoon activities. As usual, you have her dressed to the nines. Love all the different stripes and colors with touches of hot pink and aqua. Darling!! ~Lindy D.
