We flew Ottawa-Toronto-Beijing-Guangzhou. And waited just 14 hours (after that long flight) to meet our precious baby girl. I still feel the same way I did this time last year, that feeling like you're living in a dream. It's real now, of course. Our dream came true and we couldn't be happier. We thank God every day for bringing us together and making us a little family.
I followed your journey back before you even went to get Lilah. I can't believe it has been a year already. What an amazing Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteShe is just unbelievably beautiful. And what a year of development!
ReplyDeleteI love the qoute at the end of your post. Look how much she changed and grown, what a beautiful girl!

ReplyDeleteIts hard to believe that you have completed your first year as parents Colin & Jill Congratulations
Lilah has blossomed under the love & affection you have so readily lavished upon her. What an adoreable granddaughter & such a joy to be around.
Wishing you more happy times together and may you be lovingly guided by the great God whom we serve.
I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32v8
