thirty five years

It's an annual event that started last year - Lilah takes my picture on my birthday!

Today, when I picked her up after work, she said to me:
"Mama, you're going to get a present when Baba comes home from work."
And then with big eyes she quiely said - "Shhh... it's a surprise!"

  10. In answer to all your questions: The surprise that Lilah was keeping quiet was something she and Baba had chatted about that morning, however she didn't realize that the surprise had already taken place and was no longer a surprise!! After Baba dropped Lilah off at school he called me at work and had me come downstairs to pick it up - since he can't access the building I work in - it was a Starbucks latte and a dozen (chocolate chip & walnut - yum!) cookies, to share with my co-workers.

He knows exactly what I enjoy most in life... :)
