four years ago today...

Oh my sweet Lilah Grace...

How can I put into words my love for you? It's been 4 years since the moment I first held you in my arms... 4 years since God answered my prayers and I became a Mama. My love for you just continues to grow. I truly didn't think that was possible, but with every new age, every new situation you have been put into, I'm reminded what an absolute blessing you are and I just keep falling in love with you, more and more.

You've taught me much about courage. You've taught me much about patience. You've taught me much about tenderness. You've taught me much about happiness. You've taught me much about thankfulness. You've taught me much about love. And I'm still learning from you.

You've made me a better person in so many ways.
I love you Lilah Grace.

  2. She is precious! I love the photo of her looking at herself in the mirror - it tells a story and makes me wonder what she is thinking!

Congrats on 4 years with your big girl!!

  3. Congratulations on 4 years together as a family! Lilah is so stunning. And the light in these shots is just dreamy. Oh how I wish I had "met" you back when Lilah joined your family. I'm happy to say that I've enjoyed getting to you know you all this past year. Blessings to you all during this special time!

  4. Four years? Wow, has it been that long ago? Your blog was one of the very first I started to follow and you had just come home with Lilah. We had completed our homestudy, gone through the adoption panel and were just waiting and waiting and a little more waiting! Mark was working away from home and I was spending a lot of time on my own. Reading your blog ( and a few others!) kept me motivated and determined to not give up. Thank you Jill :)

BTW, how elegant does your big girl look in these pics????

  5. I can hardly believe it's been four years! Lilah is looking so lovely and grown up in these shots. And I have to say how much I've loved "watching" your little blessing grow. She is a special little girl, for sure.
