No, this is not an April Fool's joke!
The weather today is 18°C.
Tomorrow it's going to be 26°C.
And on Saturday it's going to be 27°C. Seriously. I'm beside myself! Although I have a certain 2 year old who is extremely sceptical and set in her ways. She demanded her boots and winter coat this morning! I finally got her talked out of it, but she wasn't at all chuffed. We met a few white rabbits outside the antique shop on our walk to Tim Hortons.

Great pictures of a stylin' little girl! Did you pick that doughnut just because it matched her outfit?! You will have to pull out the shorts tomorrow.... what a great Easter weekend.
ReplyDeleteHaha! No, Paige! She chose the donut. First she asked for the Canadian one, but it's not on at the moment. I tried talking her into a coconut cream one as it is my favourite at the moment, and I usually end up eating the most of it anyway. But no, it had to be this gross blue crunchy one!

I was going to say the same thing! Only Jill would have a daughter whose donut matched her outfit! So cute! =)
ReplyDeleteBehold the cuteness!!

Oh Jill- I am SOOOO envious of your weather! Could you please send some out West for me??
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the pic of her in her shades. Man, she has such a sense of style, and she knows how to work it (she must get that from her mama, right?!?)
Also, I loved the post on the "baby boy". Maddy does that, too, sometimes with her stuffed penguins. But we have not yet had the talk about being in a mama's tummy or more importantly, having not been in mine. I do somewhat dread that day, as I think it will make my heart break a little more for her- all she lost, and all she has gone thru- and all she will likely never have answers for. I say a little thankful prayer several times a day it seems, for the gift of life our birthmother gave us. And it always catches me off guard, when I least expect it. :>) I guess we will likely never stop giving thanks for what we have, and for what many take for granted. And I hope that when she is 13 and in puberty and giving me fits, she still takes my breath away as much as she does now and makes me say my little daily prayer.
Happy Easter! I look forward to your fun pictures from the day.

She is the cutest little thing ever! I'm so happy that winter is OVER! We've had some wonderful weather here, too, this week.
ReplyDeleteGin =)
Love how all the colors match! Just wondering what you do with all your beautiful photos - mine just sit on the computer, unfortunately!
